Limited Lifetime Warranty for the Burke 20 titanium folding bike frameset

 

What is Covered

This limited warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship in this product.  SC reserves the right to repair or replace the frame at their sole determination.

What is Not Covered

This limited warranty does not cover any damage, deterioration or malfunction resulting from any alteration, modification, improper or unreasonable use or maintenance, misuse, abuse, accident, neglect, exposure to excess moisture, fire, improper packing and shipping (such claims must be presented to the carrier), or any acts of nature.

This limited warranty does not cover any damage, deterioration or malfunction resulting from the installation or removal of any component parts, any unauthorized tampering with this product, any repairs attempted by anyone unauthorized by SC to make such repairs, or any other cause which does not relate directly to a defect in materials and/or workmanship of this product.

This limited warranty does not cover any freight costs relative to a warranty claim to or from SC.

This limited warranty does not cover any costs related to the dis-assembly or re-assembly of the bicycle.

How Long Does this Coverage Last

This limited warranty lasts for the lifetime of the frame to the original owner.  The original owner is defined as the initial end consumer to purchase the Burke 20.  This limited warranty is not transferable to subsequent purchasers or owners of this product.

How to File a Warranty Claim

Any warranty claims must be filed by the original owner.

Returns

Customer will be responsible for paying for the shipping costs for returning any items. Shipping costs are non-refundable. We recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance.

‍Please contact us before returning any items. If a return is sent without the written consent of Seattle Cycles a refund will not be issued and the customer will have to pay shipping to get the item returned.

If your approved return passes our inspection, you may receive an exchange, store credit, or a refund.

‍If non-returnable items are returned without authorization from our Customer Service, they will be returned to the customer. Restocking fees may apply to unauthorized returns.

Bike orders:

  • No returns will be accepted after 14 days from date of delivery.

  • Customers must receive prior authorization from Seattle Cycles before returning any items.

  • To be eligible for a return, the bike must be unused and in the same packaging and condition that we shipped it.

  • Must be in the same packaging (including all protective cardboard and foam) and condition that you received it.

  • Must include all items that were included inside the box (charger, keys, etc.)

  • Returned bikes are subject to a 25% restocking fee (this is withheld from refund).

  • Customer pays return shipping

Accessories and replacement part orders:

  • No returns will be accepted after 14 days from date of delivery.

  • Customers must receive prior authorization from Seattle Cycles before returning any items.

  • To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused and in the same     packaging and condition that we shipped it.

  • Subject to a 25% restocking fee

  • Customer pays return shipping

Used items:

  • Used items are non-returnable, except for cases of defect or malfunction covered by our warranty.

  • Customers must receive prior authorization from Seattle Cycles before returning any items.

The following items are non-returnable:

  • All wearable merchandise such as clothing, shoes, gloves, helmets, etc.

  • Batteries

  • Special orders

  • Sale items

  • Gift cards

  • Gifted orders
